Love Blooms...with a little bling

I love stamps that I can color with my sizable collection of coloring paraphernalia and I love them even more when they are floral images. Flowers just come to life with a little color and shading. They also embellish well with little tidbits like buttons or bling. Along with my Copics, I used SU ink and my pearlescent watercolors (I got mine at My Favorite Things) with an aquapainter. Then, I pulled out a few mini rhinestones to finish the flowers. I know blue flowers aren't quite common in nature but I ordered a goodly supply of SU Maine Blueberry DSP so I wanted to cut into a few sheets. (I was sorry to see this collection retire) A while back, I found a color of ribbon at my local Hobby Lobby that exactly matches SU Not Quite Navy. This is what I used above. The sentiment for this card is tucked inside and it reads, "hope your day is blooming with love." You might not be able to tell from my photo but the blue background panel is embossed with CB's Birds & Swirls folder. Overall, I like the final results and I can't wait to send it to a friend.

If you are interested in purchasing this card or any others you see here on my blog, please visit my etsy shop, here. Otherwise, my supply list is below. Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
