A Look at Rub-Ons (SU only card)

Hi guys! Since today is day 4 of having my hubby and kids home because of the storm, it will be another brief post. As a matter of fact, I will even skip the links to certain products and just trust that anyone who would like to know more will let me know. So, have a look and I will tell you just a tiny bit before dashing off to the day.
And then a different angle to show a little bit of the texture...
The reason I wanted to call attention to the texture of the image is that it is a rub-on versus a stamped image. With rub-ons, not only do you get a silky paper surface but you also get multi-colored detail that just doesn't happen with stamps. I know that I would probably never bother with coloring a stamp in 3 different colors on such tiny areas and I love to color! This set of rub-ons is called Birthday Party and as you can see, it coordinates beautifully with the Celebrations DSP. I love these colors together and I think they are great for either gender as well as birthday boys and girls of all ages.

The sentiment I used is from the Perfect Punches set and I punched it with the wide oval punch. A strip of Pear Pizazz CS through my Ribbon Border punch and a couple Whisper White buttons and this card was finished in a flash.

Check back tomorrow to see another new card using a set from the Occasions Mini catalog. Ciao for now!

  1. Love those colors! I haven't tried much with rub-ons, but may have to start now. Guess you must be just about stir crazy after 4 straight snow days! At least hubby's home, too!
